It has been a great first two days! We have learned what expectations there are for us in the classroom and have worked on getting to know our classmates a little better. Tomorrow will be a math review to see just how much the students remember from last year! Work with your student daily on reading and remembering our classroom agreement. Here is what we came up with as a class for our classroom agreement:
Respect each other
Keep hands and feet to ourselves
Get along with classmates
Tell the truth (always!)
Talk at appropriate levels
Respect yourself
Respect school property
Be responsible
Be independent
Follow directions - listen
Pay attention
Be prepared
We talked about what each of these rules means in detail, and each student signed the agreement stating that they would follow these rules.
